Freewheelers EVS is a registered charity (No.1001067) entirely supported by donations and sponsorship. We do not charge the NHS for our services. None of our riders or co-ordinators are paid for the of time that they give to the charity. Annual running costs for the 3 in-service bikes and our standby bike are around £20,000. This covers expenses like fuel (currently around £500/month), maintenance, road tax, insurance and around £7,000 to replace the oldest bike on our fleet. If we were not able to do this our fleet would age and become more unreliable so affecting our ability to provide a reliable and immediate service to hospitals in our area. Every donation, no matter how small, helps us to deliver our valuable services to the NHS. To donate use the PayPal logo above or contact any of the charity's officers. Throughout the year Freewheelers attends a number of events where we hold collections. In 2007 we are looking to do additional fundraising through different events such as a sponsored parachute jump. Our fund raising page has more information on this and other ways we are aiming to raise money. See the eBay section of our fund raising page for information on how you can support Freewheelers by buying from our charity auctions or donating a percentage of the proceeds from your own auctions.
