Freewheelers Volunteers presented Roger Vaughan and Chris Bowden from Brean Golf Club with a certificate of thanks and a laser-engraved glass award. Roger was the Club Captain in 2009 and Chris was the Lady Captain. Roger and Chris made Freewheelers their charity of the year and held a number of fundraising events throughout 2009. At the end of the year they handed over a Honda ST1300 motorcycle to Freewheelers, which cost nearly £7,000 and has been in use on the Somerset patch ever since. We would like to thank Roger, Chris and the members of Brean Golf Club for their kindness and hard work. |
