How Freewheelers is funded
Freewheelers EVS is a registered charity that depends entirely on donations from members of the public, clubs and companies
Throughout the year we attend bike shows, street fairs, summer fetes, supermarkets and other community events. For all our upcoming events take a look at our events page.
Come and say hello - and we might even let you sit on one of our bikes!
Fund Raising Activities
A number of fundraising events are run by other people for the benefit of Freewheelers EVS. Or you are welcome to come and join us at many of our events.
If your group wishes to hold a fundraising event for Freewheelers EVS and would like us to attend with one of our bikes, please get in contact as early as possible using the form on our contacts page or phone one of the charity's officers. Subject to operational constraints we will normally be happy to supply a bike and rider. We can help to promote your group and your event by putting links on our website.
We are also able to come and visit your group, be that young or old. We would be happy to give a talk to explain what we do, how and why. Even better if you provide a cuppa. Contact us and we can discuss availability.
If you want to hold a sponsored event, or you are taking part in an organised event such as a marathon, then you can raise funds for Freewheelers by setting up your own JustGiving page. Simply click go to justgiving.com/freewheelers and click on the “make a page” button.
JustGiving will handle all your sponsorship and arrange for it to be paid directly to Freewheelers - leaving you free to concentrate on your training for the big event!
BT's MyDonate service also offers sponsorship pages. The benefit to Freewheelers is that we get slightly more money because BT's administration fees are lower than JustGiving.
Why not set up a page on both.
Please Contact us if you would like a more traditional paper sponsor form.
